Nellie grew them in Kamsack, Saskatchewan until 1988 when her granddaughter, Marge Mozelinsky, took over the preservation of these beans. Marge has been growing them ever since. The pods are a nice yellow color and the seeds are dark brown. When cooked, it has the unique quality of having a mushroom, or umami taste. This heavy-yielding bean bears a profusion of creamy-yellow pods hanging from vigorous vines.
