Hedge Mustard SEEDS (Sisymbrium officinale)

Hedge mustard (Sisymbrium officinale) is a type of wild mustard. It grows in dry ground and even cracks of sidewalks. It usually grows 12-15 inches tall and develops long stems that get yellow flowers. After the flowers fade it develops three quarter to one inch long, thin, seed pods. Let the seed pods dry to get seeds to grind. The leaves and seeds have a peppery taste, and a hint like horseradish. The plant is used medicinally. 50 seeds per pkg.
