Poppy Lauren#39;s Grape seeds
Poppy Lauren's Grape seeds each packet comes with 60+ seedsThese are a very cute, bright purple poppy variety. They send out many flowers and the pods can be dried for crafts, wreaths and dried flower arrangements! They can reach about 36-48 inches tall and prefer full sunThis variety prefers to be direct-sown. Some people scatter Poppy seeds in the fall where they winter over and sprout up in spring or you can sow in early spring once the ground can be worked. I recommend looking into your growing zone and check what other gardeners in your area have had success with! Personally I like to use the rake and sow method as the seeds want to be close to the surface as they need light to germinate but the roughing up of the soil helps break it up for the seedlings. These do need a period of cold stratification, (3-4 weeks) in order to properly germinate. If you live somewhere the temps drop below 40F they should be fine to cold stratify outside in the ground or you can put them in a plastic bag or mason jar in the refrigerator a few weeks before planting. Make sure to protect seeds from birds and the sprouts from pests like slugs and snails! All seeds from my shop are lovingly gathered, cleaned and packaged by me! My garden is open pollinated and I do not use and herbicides or pesticides. To keep shipping costs and seed prices low, I ship most seed orders under $30 in an envelope without tracking with a handwritten card and some foam padding so the seeds don’t get squished. If you would like tracking with smaller orders please reach out and I can add it on for an additional chargeIf there is ever an issue with seed damage in the mail, lost seeds in the mail, germination issues etc. Please message me! It is rare but sometimes things happen. I am always available to troubleshoot!Important note : Due to the sensitive ecosystems and regulations around the import of agricultural items I will not ship seeds to Hawaii, thank you for your understanding!
